We have received a lot of reports with people having trouble making donations in person at Bank of America. Our friends with the Spokane VFW tracked down the issue to the name being used on the account. If you would like to donate in person at a Bank of America, please use the following account name:
“The Waggoner Family Trust”
I apologize for any inconvenience this oversight may have caused.

I can’t say enough good things about the folks over at Cancer Warrior. Heather and her team heard Jake’s story and have offered their support to him and his family. For the entire month of May, each
T-Shirt Sale will result in a $10 donation to Jake and his family. So far, the people behind Cancer Warrior have raised over $500 for Jake. We are hoping to eclipse this and break the $1,000 barrier. Of course, this cannot happen without your support.
Please go visit their website and purchase a T-Shirt. The clothing they offer is top notch and a great way to help those whom have or have know somebody who has fought this disease. If you are tired of the bracelets and bumper stickers, their apparel is a great way to show your support!
Please also visit their Facebook page and Twitter page to show your support.
Jake is a warrior. Please help him and others. Thank you Heather!

We want to thank Spirit 105.3FM for supporting Jake and his family in these trying times. And a special thanks to Sam, Donna and Carol! Please don’t ever give up spreading the word about Jake. He is strong willed and with everybody’s help, he will pull through.

So far I think we all feel a little bit like the Wizard in The Wizard of Oz – trying to make magic happen behind the scenes while letting only a few people know what we’ve been working so frustratingly hard on. Fortunately – we have reached the stage where we can let people know exactly HOW they can help Jake and his family out during this struggle. If you are in our circle of contacts – you should be getting – or have received a letter in your email inbox (or Twitter, Facebook, etc) driving you to this page. Excellent! If you stumbled here by happenstance – excellent as well, but please leave a note via contact link (above) or respond to this post (below) as to how we can better bring traffic to this website and/or how we can better bring attention to this cause. I can promise you that constructive criticism in this process is both solicited and welcomed.
As for the pertinent question – “How is Jake doing?” My wife and I stopped by Jake’s place yesterday to put the finishing touches on the PayPal donation link (top right of page). Jake looks very good – his new (expensive) diet (pretty much Vegan) has him trim, but not gaunt, and full of energy and wit. Being that Jake has always been a talented athlete – I’m pretty certain he could still run circles around me. His beautiful wife and daughter were also in good spirits, even if the little one is still afraid to look at me. We hope to invite them over for dinner in the near future – perhaps we can have a Comm. Platoon function?
Thanks for your support in visiting this page and continued support in spreading the word. Look to see more info from www.JakesFund.com and associated Twitter and Facebook accts in the near future.
